Health Week has been fun, active and educational for all pupils. A child friendly dentist chatted to the children about what the dentist does, how the tools are used and very importantly how to brush teeth properly. All children brought a toothbrush to practise after seeing the teeth of Fred the skull head. The judging of the healthy food competition will complete the week. Prizes will be awarded to one child from each class for the healthiest menu.

The outdoor challenge was an action packed afternoon involving an exciting mini assault course around the playground and field. The run to the finish had to be speedy to avoid a sprinkling from the water gun.

The children from the Nursery Department joined in the week with a sponsored cycle on bikes, trikes and pedal cars as part of Pedal Push 2008. In addition to the enjoyment of the afternoon over £300 was raised for the NSPCC.
