Past Charity Events

On average we enjoy one charity day a term with various themes or an exciting event.

Spots, spots and more spots.

The whole of Agincourt School turned spotty to raise money for Children in Need.

As always the staff and children made every effort to have a fun fund raising day for this worthy cause.  Spots everywhere and a pack of dalmatians added to the entertainment.  The last total was over £350.  This might rise as parents join the school for refreshments during the morning.

Agincourt School’s ‘Bad Hair Day’ raises money for Children in Need

Staff and pupils aged 3 to 7 at Agincourt School arrived at school with BAD hairstyles to support Children in Need.

There was an amazing assortment of colours, spikes and tangles.  One little girl kindly donated her birthday money to bring the total raised to £330.

Children of the World.

Agincourt School children have been raising money for the ‘Christmas Child’ charity. Many shoe boxes of gifts have been filled to send to children around the world. Millions of children are victims of war, poverty, famine and disease and this is a message of hope for these children at Christmas time.  To add to the appeal, the children and staff dressed in ‘Countries of the World’ costumes, this raised over £170 to send with the boxes.’

Balloon Day.

Balloon Day - Each child bought a balloon to be let off during science week for a balloon race. There was a prize given for the balloon that travelled the furthest. In the end a surprising number were sent back, some had travelled as far as London! The money went to Children in Need.

Barnardo's Toddle.

The Agincourt Nursery children put their best foot forward to Toddle for Barnardo's.  Over 30 children had fun with face painting, a treasure hunt and a teddy bears' picnic.  The children raised over £550 which will help the 1 in 4 children living in poverty in the UK. Well done you Toddlers.
