Haberdashers’ Deputation Visit

March 9, 2017

A large party of visiting Haberdashers, Governors and honoured guests began their deputation visit on Monday with a terrific day spent at HMSG and Inglefield House, followed by an excellent dinner with some of our longest standing and newer members of teaching staff. Tuesday morning started with a joint Senior Schools’ Service followed by a visit to Agincourt. Our Year 2 children made us exceptionally proud with their confident performance of two songs and a very special poem which collected together the children’s own ‘Forty Two Reasons Why We all Love Agincourt School’ (yes, mathematicians, there are 42 letters in that title!). A full School tour, led by the Head Boy and Girl and Prefect team took in all the sights, including Nursery taking a few turns on the mud slide. Coffee with staff rounded off the visit, then it was back on the bus and off to The Grange and Monmouth School for the remainder of the day. Thanks to Mr Arrand and Mr Dorman for their slick organisation, and all at Agincourt for showing off our School so beautifully.
