The Reception children continued their polar explorations this week, and decided that, given the lack of available snow and ice, they would have to think outside of the box in order to complete their igloo-building challenge. The children and staff tackled the challenge with much enthusiasm and built their own igloo entirely from milk cartons and bubble wrap. The children took turns to collect and position the cartons and were very excited to see their igloo growing. They each had their photograph taken in the finished igloo, and were surprised to find it was quite warm and cosy inside!
