Year 1 Trip to Cardiff Castle

September 11, 2015

Our Year 1 classes had a fantastic visit to Cardiff Castle on Thursday. They studied the motte and keep and had a tour of the stunning castle interior. The children were able to dress up in chain mail and armour and also looked at some archery armour which looked very different from the standard suits. The children were extremely excited to find two enormous golden eggs in the Great Hall. Princess Elizabeth’s dragon had been called away on an important mission and the Year 1 children have been entrusted with the care of the eggs in her absence. They were transported carefully back to Agincourt and anticipation is reaching fever pitch as the eggs are incubating in the Year 1 classrooms as we speak!
