Year 2 trip to Penarth

May 12, 2016
Year 2 are studying the British Coastline as the introduction to their ‘Wonderful Water’ studies. On Thursday they set off to Penarth in some long-awaited sunshine. A tour of the RNLI Penarth Lifeboat station, a picnic lunch in the Italian Gardens, ice cream on the pier and fossil hunting on the beach were all included in their busy day. The children returned to school laden with their many finds. Hopefully they have left a few on the beach for others to enjoy!
